First and foremost, Violet Crown is great to work with. I would recommend them for any landscaping job in a heartbeat.
I had received many quotes for a large landscaping job that included full xeriscape and drainage before I found Violet Crown and I was very happy when I did. Violet Crown was the only company to really spend the time necessary to understand the drainage issues I had with my property and provide real solutions that met my budget. When it came to design they were thorough with providing CAD designs that fit within the budget and made sure to call-out things that I wanted that wouldn't work within my budget. They didn't sell me on something that couldn't be done within my budget. Once we finalized the design, they did a good job communicating the timeline.
The installation process was very professional. The crew cleaned up each day and took special care of the area of our lawn where we already had artificial grass. I am extremely happy with the final result. The project included the following:
- full xeriscape landscape design
- drainage
- xeriscape installation (rocks, mulch, plants)
- retaining wall
- drip irrigation
- landscape lighting
- pond and waterfall -

What an amazing job everyone did for our projects this week. It is so nice to have someone really understand amazing customer experiences. Charles was quick to return my call, set an appointment to come look at the work, quote a fair price, and quickly get us into their work queue.
They are great about communicating any change order and scheduling while on the job. We have worked with several landscapers over the 14 years we have lived in this home and Violet Crown is one of the best! They helped us create a ADA walkway and a back yard refresh.
I will not need to use any other service since they are capable of awesome work.
The crew was so polite and worked so hard! If you need a project done this Summer or Fall I would definitely put them in for a quote on your project.

Okay, so it took me a while to write this review because I've been busy, but I finally had to sit down and do this because Violet Crown Landscaping should be promoted more. Chase, the owner, is a great guy to work with -- he maintained very clear communication with me from start to finish; he made sure all of my concerns were well taken care of without any fuss (before and after the job was done); and he gave me a very reasonably priced quote once I told him my budget, and he was able to complete the project well within that budget. Although he was a little short handed when he lost a member of his crew, he made sure the job was done right (even if it took longer to finish). I'm glad he got more employees working for him now. Sure, I've given his contact information and website to several people who have raved about my backyard after seeing it, but I think Chase and his company deserve to be promoted beyond just my friends and family.

Charles and his crew are utmost professional, prompt and meticulous in their landscaping services. We've experienced quite a few disappointing Contractors and their work needed to be corrected. Charles was knowledgeable and creative in his suggestions and design. We just finished Phase I of our backyard and looking forward to future ones with this landscaping company.

Hi yelp land!
We hired violet Crown to consult with us on their landscape design services. Chase was very professional and insightful into the many options that fit our budget concerns. Our ideas are unique and require a keen eye which is why I am writing this review. We lived in the tropics and loved the Asian landscape designs found in zen gardens. With all the details discussed,Chase didn't hesitate to design and execute an amazing zen garden that many people have come to appreciate when they come over. We will be hiring him again when we start on the back. Thanks Chase!
